I have worked in the Health & Social Care sector since 2003. Prior to this, I trained and worked as a nurse.
Since coming to the UK in 2003, my passion to care took me the route of Adult Social Care and I have enjoyed making a positive difference to individuals.
Until September 2020, I worked as Registered Care Manager for a domiciliary care company and went on to achieve a CQC ‘Outstanding’ rating within 14 months of being appointed to the role.
My passion to provide truly person-centred care whilst at the same time delivering a high standard of service led me to starting my own agency where I can interact with my clients and provide them with compassionate high quality home care.
‘Person-Centred Care’ is a term you may have heard many times before, but it is truly put into practice here at VKARE Domiciliary Services.
David - Business Development & Project Manager
With a background in implementation management in the NHS (10 years) and operations management in banking, insurance and finance (27 years), my role is to ensure that VKARE Domiciliary Services has the processes and technical assets to conduct and expand its business activities in a safe and effective manner.
The security and accuracy of information relating to our clients and employees is of paramount importance to us and a significant part of my role is to ensure that all such records are kept confidential, up to date and used solely for the purpose for which they were obtained.
Njavwa - Field Supervisor/Care Coordinator
I am a Zambian trained and qualified Registered nurse. I worked for 6 years in a
hospital while in Zambia, before taking up employment in the UK in September 2023.
Since coming to the UK, I have continued in my passion to provide compassionate care and bring meaning to people’s life. In my current role as supervisor/coordinator at VKARE Domiciliary Services, my job is to communicate organisational needs, oversee caregivers-providing guidance and support; to arrange and carry out staff support visits, supervising, monitoring and reviewing their performance to ensure high quality of service that our clients expect is provided. I also ensure that accurate records are maintained, ensuring that all client care plans are up to date for optimum delivery of care and support to each and every service user.
All our care givers are have undergone checks and are cleared by the disclosure and barring service. Details available on request.
