National laws and government and industry guidelines have been revised since the threat from COVID-19 has receded and VKARE Domiciliary Services has modified its practices and processes accordingly.

VKARE Domiciliary Services does not expect its Care Givers to wear full PPE as a matter of course, apart from those elements of PPE that are required for certain personal care procedures (e.g. gloves, aprons, hand sanitiser etc.).

However, we are sensitive to the fact that the threat from COVID-19 has not disappeared entirely and that some clients may wish the Care Givers to wear PPE whilst in their homes. We still have significant stocks of PPE available and are happy to discuss and accommodate your PPE requirements where appropriate and reasonable.
